Update Your Artist Image Using Rovi

Screen Shot 2015-09-25 at 1.41.11 PMIn order to ensure accuracy and consistency across multiple platforms, Spotify pulls artist images and biographies from the Rovi Database (the same database used by AllMusic).

Because of this, we recommend that if your music is on Spotify, you should also have a Rovi ID.  This will ensure that the correct picture always appears on your artist page, and that should you decide to change your image, the transition is as seamless as possible.

Fill Out The Image Update Form

Begin by filling out the update form below – if you do not yet have a Rovi ID, you will be prompted to create one.

Wait For Your Submission To Process

Rovi IDs and Image Updates typically take about 2-4 weeks each to process.  Please submit your update with this timeframe in mind.

After the waiting period, search for your artist on AllMusic and enter your AllMusic Page Link into the Image Update Form.  If 4 weeks has elapsed and you cannot find your AllMusic Page, please let us know via our contact form.

If there is an issue with your Rovi ID or AllMusic page – reach out to: content.music@rovicorp.com.

If your image is appearing correctly on your AllMusic page but is not appearing on your artist profile, please email your Rovi ID and your discography link to artists@spotify.com with the subject, “Rovi Linkage.”
